The Blitz JZX100 Chaser Tourer V of 1996 is an Aoshima plastic kit in 1:24 scale capturing a tuned Japanese sedan.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit from the Japanese brand Aoshima in 1:24 scale. The real subject is the Toyota Chaser of the JZX100 generation in the top Tourer V trim, as reworked by the Japanese tuning firm Blitz. The 1996 model year given in the name matches the first year of this generation, so this is an early form. The particular contents of the package, the number of parts and the decal schemes are given on the box of the kit.
The Chaser JZX100 went on sale in the autumn of 1996 as a sporting four-door sedan intended mainly for the Japanese market. The top Tourer V trim combined the turbocharged 1JZ-GTE inline six of 2.5 liters with rear-wheel drive, which made the car a basis still sought after today for drifting and street tuning. Blitz is among the long-established Japanese tuning brands and fitted cars of this type with aerodynamic parts, wheels and chassis changes; how these parts are handled in the package is shown by the instructions and the box of the kit.
Tuned sedans live off a glossy finish and cleanly seated accessories. Sand the body back, go over it with a primer-filler and apply the paint in thin layers. Dry-fit the aerodynamic parts before painting, because once sprayed they are hard to fit. Finish the interior before you close the body up, and line the wheels on the lowered chassis up in advance so that the car stands level on all four.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
