An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern Citroën C3 WRC of the 2018 season in 1:24 scale from the Belgian maker Belkits. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and belongs among the richly equipped sets: it contains photo-etched parts (hood catches, brake discs, belts), masking templates for the window frames, material for the fabric of the belts and pre-formed metal parts. The whole interior, the transmission and the underside of the car are worked out in detail.
The Citroën C3 WRC was a works car of the top category of the world rally championship of the World Rally Car generation from 2017 onwards. The version captures the car with number 11, with which the crew of Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena started on the tarmac Tour de Corse in 2018. The car combines all-wheel drive, a forced-induction engine and extensive aerodynamics.
Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate, spray the body with an airbrush and finish the colorful livery with decals onto a gloss coat. Use the masks enclosed for clean window frames; it is a more demanding set suited to more experienced modelers.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
