A highly detailed plastic kit of the modern American Ford GT supercar in 1:24 scale from Tamiya. The model represents the second generation of the Ford GT, presented in the middle of the second decade of this century. The box contains injection-molded plastic parts, plated wheel parts, decals including optional racing stripes, painting masks and metal transfers for the mirror surfaces; glue and paints are not included.
The Ford GT is a modern supercar that pays tribute to the legendary GT40 racer of the 1960s. The second generation appeared in 2015 and stands out for its aerodynamic body with prominent side air tunnels and roof buttresses. It is powered by a turbocharged six-cylinder engine and was created with the brand's return to endurance racing in mind.
Spray the body with an airbrush over primer and polish it to the high gloss that suits a supercar. The optional racing stripes are made with decals: settle them on a gloss coat and cover them with a clear coat. Mask the window frames with the masks provided, use the metal transfers on the mirrors, and the plated wheel parts will complete the realistic look. Paint the multi-part headlights and taillights for maximum fidelity.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
