A plastic kit (1:24) of the Lancia Super Delta rally car from Hasegawa. Behind the nickname Super Delta stands the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione, the ultimate Group A rally car in its form for the 1992 season. The model brings the muscular body with its pronounced fenders, spoiler and wide track into 1:24 scale. The box combines injection-molded plastic with rubber tires, a well-worked interior with a roll cage and a decal sheet for the period racing livery and start numbers.
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione, nicknamed the Super Delta, was a Group A rally car with all-wheel drive and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. In 1992 it brought Lancia the manufacturers' world title and closed an extraordinarily successful era for the Delta in the World Rally Championship. This is not the Stratos; it is the later all-wheel-drive Delta. Cars of this period carried a classic racing livery and prominent start numbers.
Assemble the interior with its roll cage and seat it before you close up the body. Take the body to a gloss finish, settle the sponsor decals and the start numbers on a smooth, clear-coated surface and then coat over them. Use thin cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush; separate the fenders and the spoiler sharply in color and bring out the wheels and the wheel wells with a light dusting of pigments for the rally touch.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
