A kit of the legendary Nissan Skyline GT-R coupe of the R32 generation in 1:24 scale. The car that was nicknamed Godzilla for its dominance in touring car racing.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R of the R32 generation was introduced at the end of the 1980s and moved the bar at once. Under the hood worked a turbocharged inline six of 2.6 liters with two turbochargers, the power was put down by all-wheel drive with variable torque split, and rear-axle steering helped the car in a corner. On the circuits this turned into dominance: in Group A touring cars the rivals could barely keep up and the car earned the nickname Godzilla. The shape stayed sober, with a square front end, widened fenders and unmistakable round taillights.
The 1:24 scale is among the most widespread with automobiles, so the model fits well into a collection beside other cars and at the same time offers enough room for a detailed interior and chassis.
Separate the parts with nippers a little way from the part, sand the rest off and wash and degrease everything before painting. A body of this kind lives on gloss: apply a filler primer, sand it back with fine wet paper and spray the color in thin coats, otherwise the edges of the fenders will disappear. Let the finish cure thoroughly and only then polish. Draw the black window frames and the grille out with a thin brush or with a mask, because on a square body every inaccuracy shows.
For collectors of Japanese cars and for modelers who want to practice a glossy finish on a shape-wise rewarding body. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
