An injection-molded plastic kit of a sports car in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. The model belongs to the long-established line of sports cars that Fujimi carries in this scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; cement for plastic, paints and basic modeling tools are needed to finish it.
The Porsche 911 Turbo is the turbocharged top version of the rear-engined Porsche 911. Turbocharging reached the production 911 in the mid-1970s and brought a markedly higher output, but also the reputation of a car that demands respect from its driver. The typical recognition marks are widened rear fenders, a wider track and a prominent rear wing. The air-cooled and later water-cooled flat-six mounted behind the rear axle remained a design constant of the whole line, and the 911 Turbo has become one of the most frequently built car models of all.
The result stands or falls with the body. Sand the parting lines, polish the surfaces and use a primer that will reveal any remaining scratches. Spray the color in thin coats, let the gloss varnish cure and only then polish if you wish. Mask the chrome and gloss black features well in advance, and on the widened fenders check that the two sides match. Apply the decals onto a gloss base with a decal softener and seal them with varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
