An injection-molded plastic kit of the European long-haul tractor Scania R143 M 500 Streamline in the 4x2 form in 1:24 scale from the maker Italeri. The model is richly detailed — it contains a complete engine, a working chassis with suspension, transmission and drivetrain, a full cab interior and water-slide decals. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
The Scania 3 series with the Streamline cab was one of the top European long-haul tractors of the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. The R143 M 500 version was powered by a powerful V8 of around 500 horsepower. The truck established itself in European and non-European markets and became a symbol of the powerful and reliable long-distance transport of its time.
First assemble the chassis, the engine and the drivetrain — with this kit they form the basis of the whole build. Glue the cab carefully and smooth the joints for a gloss finish. Spray the body with a gloss color, coat it with a clear and only then apply the decals. Fit the chrome and the clear parts at the end, so that they do not get damaged.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
