Eduard 1:24 RAF seatbelts (Second World War) is a colored photo-etched set of safety belts for the cockpits of British aircraft. It is an accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A colored photo-etched set of seatbelts in 1:24 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. The set replaces the simplified plastic or missing belts in the crew compartment and gives an open cockpit in a large scale a striking, realistic detail. It is not an airplane model but a separate detail accessory.
The belts correspond to the equipment used in the cockpits of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. The color etching captures the straps as well as the metal buckles, so the parts look faithful right after they are removed from the fret.
Break the parts out with a sharp knife, make the bends over a metal ruler and shape the straps with light pressure. Standard photo-etched parts are attached with super glue; with a self-adhesive version, once the backing film is removed we recommend securing the joint with a drop of glue.
The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts. The airplane model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
