A plastic kit of the large Japanese sedan Toyota Crown 3.0 Royal in 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Toyota Crown is one of the oldest and longest-built lines of the brand and in Japan it is a typical representative of the upper class. It is a large sedan built for comfort and for show rather than for sporting driving, with a long body, rich equipment and calm lines. The Royal designation refers to a higher equipment line, while the number 3.0 refers to the displacement class of the engine. Among car models the Crown is a welcome change, because display cases always hold more sports coupes than sedans.
It is a kit of a passenger car in 1:24 scale. Given the dimensions of the subject, the result is a large model that takes up more room in a display case than an ordinary coupe in the same scale. The extent of the parts, the rendition of the interior and the color variants are described in the instructions enclosed with the kit.
The long flat body of a sedan is demanding on the paint, because every transition and every run shows on large panels. So wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before spraying, let them dry and apply the paint in several thin coats. On an upper-class car the chrome around the windows and the bumpers matters a great deal, and it is worth painting it separately and fitting it onto cured paint. Give the interior time, because the large windows will leave it clearly visible.
For modelers who collect Japanese cars in 1:24 scale and want a representative sedan in the display case too. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
