An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese maker Hasegawa. It represents the three-door version of the Toyota Starlet KP61 SE from the middle model year 1980. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is worked out from thorough research of the real car, with chrome-plated parts for the wheel rims and the mirrors.
The second generation Toyota Starlet of the late 1970s was a popular light hatchback with rear-wheel drive. The nimble, lively car became popular not only on the road but, thanks to its balanced chassis, as a basis for rallying and circuit racing too. The middle 1980 model version is marked out by its characteristic square headlights.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, sand the body seams back carefully and lay a primer before painting. Spray the body with an airbrush and coat it with gloss clear varnish for a deep shine. The chrome-plated parts bring out a realistic look inside and out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
