A turbocharger 1:24 is a resin set from Hobby Design for filling out the engine bay of a car model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory for modelers who open the hood on a 1:24 car. It is not a kit of a car or a whole engine but the forced induction installation on its own, added to a powerplant that has already been built or is being reworked. The material is given straight in the name, so reckon on a casting and not on injection-molded plastic.
Forced induction is the most visually striking item in the whole engine bay: the compressor housing, the hot side with its flange and the outlet branch make up a shape-rich assembly that immediately gives away a modified car. That is exactly why it is worked into builds on tuning subjects, on drift and time attack projects and on cars with a sporting history.
Before painting, clear the casting of any remains of mold release agent and let it dry thoroughly. You get a saturated metal look from a combination of a dark base and a silvery shade laid on dry over the edges. The hot side of a turbo takes heat discoloration running from brown to blue, which is a simple trick for giving the part credibility. Dose the cyanoacrylate glue sparingly and dry-fit the runs to the intake or the intercooler first, so that they sit down without strain.
