This set of waterslide decals in 1:144 scale captures the interesting hybrid livery of the wide-body McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 of 1994 to 1996. This particular machine carried the livery of Alitalia on one side and the colors of Continental Airlines on the other, which makes it a rewarding subject. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit.
The McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 was a three-engine wide-body long-haul airliner, one of the mainstays of long-distance travel in the 1970s and 1980s. In the mid-1990s one of these machines flew in an unconventional combination of the corporate colors of two airlines on its left and right sides, as the cooperation between the carriers of the time required.
Apply the decals onto a finished, smooth and gloss model surface. Lay the large fuselage sheets down with plenty of water and decal softener, so that they settle without creases. Once dry, go over them with semi-gloss or gloss varnish, depending on the character of the aircraft.
Neither the aircraft model nor paints are included in the package. The set contains only the decals.
