Dipping ink 60 ml - COOL BLUE DIP is a semi-transparent dipping ink intended for quickly bringing out relief. It is applied generously, runs into the recesses and darkens the shadow there. The name of the shade refers to a cool blue.
The technique stands or falls with the shape of the surface. On a figure with deep carving, chains, furs or scales the ink will do most of the work for you. On large smooth areas, such as the hull of a vehicle or flat armor, it has nowhere to run and the difference will hardly show - there the classic procedure with transitions painted by hand still pays off. The same goes for a collector's piece for the display case, where it is about a smooth blending of tones and where every millimeter counts; there a fast technique is not the right one. A dipping ink is a tool for volume, not for a single showpiece.
