A finished collector's model of the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia RS in 1:43 scale from the Czech maker Abrex, in the Plum Blue Metallic shade. It is supplied complete and is meant to go straight into a display case, not to be built. The shade belongs to a range in which the maker works up the same car in several metallic colors.
The fourth-generation Octavia went for smoother lines, a digitized interior and a wider choice of powertrains. The RS version is the top of the range and differs from the ordinary finish in its own bumpers, darker details and larger wheels. In the Czech Republic the RS has the reputation of a fast family car within reach that can be used every day, and that is one reason a good many collectors go for its models.
The darker blue metallic shade holds the shape of the body together and at a small scale looks calmer than light colors.
