A plastic kit of the 1932 Ford Sedan Delivery in 1:25 scale, in a finish associated with the Coca-Cola brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The 1932 Ford is among the best-known American cars of the thirties. The Sedan Delivery is its utility version: the body comes from the sedan, but solid panels replace the rear side windows and there are two-leaf doors to the load area at the back. Cars like that delivered goods around town, and their smooth flanks served at the same time as advertising space, which made them a rewarding subject. The reference to Coca-Cola in the name points precisely to a delivery car in that brand's colors.
It is a plastic kit in 1:25 scale, the scale in which American car models are built most often. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The number of parts, how far the chassis and engine area are worked out and what markings are included are given in the manufacturer's instructions inside the kit. A delivery car is a rewarding subject also because the quality of the paintwork and the accuracy of the markings show on its large smooth flanks.
Try the parts dry first and only then glue them. The body of a car like this is largely a smooth surface, and so it pays to sand the joints carefully and to wash and degrease the surface before painting. Apply the paint in thin coats, and with a gloss finish preferably in several passes. Let the coat cure before applying the decals and run a gloss varnish over the area, otherwise a white haze will appear around the film.
Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
