An injection-molded plastic kit depicting the American Space Shuttle carried on a converted Boeing 747 transport aircraft, from Academy in 1:288 scale. The set contains both machines and makes it possible to assemble a striking ferry combination. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
A specially converted Boeing 747, with the shuttle attached to its fuselage, served to carry the orbiter between its landing site and the launch site. This pair is among the iconic images of American spaceflight and represents a unique combination of aviation and space technology.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. Paint the extensive white areas of both the shuttle and the aircraft with an airbrush and add the decals. Deal carefully with attaching the shuttle to the fuselage of the aircraft so that the combination holds well. A stand suits it for display.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
