A tunnel part for H0 gauge in the straight form, that is for a straight stretch of line. Intended for a model railroad and the scene around it.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a tunnel part for H0 gauge, which corresponds to 1:87 scale and is the most widespread on model railroad layouts. The qualifier straight sets the form for a straight stretch of line apart from the form for a curve, which is offered alongside it in ranges of tunnel parts. What the part is made of and exactly how it is done is to be found in the manufacturer's description.
A tunnel is fitted before the terrain is built around it. First check the clearance: run the longest car and the locomotive you use on the layout through the stretch, because it is precisely a long car that swings out most on the transition into a curve. Then it pays to think about how you will get at a derailed car inside, that is to leave yourself access from above or from the side. Only when the clearance and the access are right should you fit the part permanently and start laying terrain around it.
So that the tunnel does not look like an alien piece, tie the terrain into it: a slope above it, retaining walls at the sides and vegetation around it. The inside is usually evened out in a dark matte shade so that nothing can be seen inside through the mouth, and the seam between the part and the terrain is covered. Rails, track, paints, glue and scenic material are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
