This is a set of painting masks from the manufacturer Art Scale in 1:48 scale, not a kit of the aircraft. The designation double-sided in the name places the set among the double-sided ones, that is for masking the glazing from both sides. That has a practical point: the canopy frame is visible from the inside through the glass, and an unpainted inner frame gives a model away at first glance. The manufacturer offers the single-sided version for the same type as a separate item. The cut is based on the Eduard kit; on a model from another manufacturer the set may not fit.
The Grumman F6F Hellcat was a carrier fighter of the US Navy and from 1943 the main support of its fighter arm in the Pacific. A robust airframe with a radial engine and a large fuel capacity gave it a combination of endurance, toughness and sufficient performance. The F6F-5 version was the last main production variant; among other things it brought a modified canopy without a separate armored windscreen panel, which is exactly the detail on which the accuracy of a mask shows.
Wash and degrease the glazing, so that the edge of the mask seats along its whole length. Transfer the parts with tweezers and press the edges down with a toothpick. Mask and spray the inner side before you close the canopy up: once the fuselage is glued together you can no longer get inside. Apply the paint in thin coats and take the mask off shortly after it has set, before the paint has fully cured.
