Responsibility details are not available.
A set of modeling inks from AK Interactive built around secondary shades. Inks differ from covering paints in being translucent: they do not cover the base but tint it. That is exactly why they are worked differently, in thin layers, and the result is built up gradually.
The basic three are red, yellow and blue. Mixing any two of them gives the shades called secondary: orange from red and yellow, green from yellow and blue, violet from blue and red. On a model this group is useful precisely because it lies between the primary colors and can tie them together without pulling the whole tone toward gray. The exact list of shades in the box is given on the packaging.
Always apply them onto a smooth, dry base, as on a rough surface they gather into patches. A thinned ink will run into recesses and grooves and bring out the shape without your having to line anything. A whole area can be shaded too, it only needs to be done in layers with each one left to dry, because the shades add up and you will not get them back. On cockpit glazing and on transparent parts they suit tinting with color, and on metal they suit deepening the shine. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
For modelers who want to work with transitions of color and with shadow, not only with covering shades. A model, glue and thinner are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
