A ready instrument panel for a model of the PZL W-3A Sokol helicopter in the TOPR version in 1:72 scale. It replaces the corresponding part from the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The PZL W-3A Sokol is a twin-engined multipurpose helicopter of Polish design that serves in transport, search and rescue duties. The abbreviation TOPR in the name points to the mountain rescue service in the Polish Tatras, with which machines of this type fly. The cabin of a rescue helicopter is one of the first places that every visitor to a display case looks at when examining a finished model.
This is a ready instrument panel for 1:72 scale, that is a replacement of the part that tends to be simplified in kits. The panel is worked up into a form that would be hard to reach by hand painting in this scale, and it is inserted into the cockpit in place of the original part. Because it is prepared for a particular version of the machine, check in the instructions which kit it is cut for.
The original part from the kit usually has to be thinned down or removed so that the replacement seats to the right depth. Dry-fit first and only then glue, and with a small drop of glue away from the visible surface. Apply cyanoacrylate glue in the smallest amount, because its vapors can fog glossy surfaces.
If the panel is finished in color, protect it with masking tape while spraying the surrounding parts and do not varnish over it needlessly. Finish the cockpit and try the fit before you glue the halves of the fuselage together.
For modelers who are building the W-3A Sokol in 1:72 scale and want to carry the cockpit through without the laborious painting of tiny instruments.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
