A replacement ejection seat for a model of the F-35B Lightning II in 1:48 scale, made by 3D printing. It replaces the simplified part of the kit in the most visible place of the cockpit.

The F-35B Lightning II is the version of the fifth generation combat aircraft adapted for a short takeoff and a vertical landing. On this generation of machines the pilot's workplace is very austere, so in an open cockpit the ejection seat is practically the only prominent element and the viewer looks at it first.
The set brings an ejection seat made by 3D printing, as the PRINT designation in the name of the item states explicitly. Printing manages sharp edges and thin walls that cannot be achieved on an injection-molded part. The scope of the set and the exact number of parts are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The printed parts are held on thin print supports. Cut these off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down carefully with fine abrasive paper, so that the edges are not damaged. Before painting, wash the part with lukewarm water and a drop of detergent and let it dry through thoroughly, otherwise the paint may not hold.
Suitable for a modeler who is building a modern combat aircraft with an open cockpit and wants the detail of the seat to match the rest of the model. The work is undemanding, because it is a single prominent assembly in a well accessible place.
The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
