1:72 Surface panels is a sheet of three-dimensional surface details that are applied to a model like a waterslide decal. It is neither a photo-etched set nor a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet from Eduard in 1:72 scale from the line of three-dimensional surface details, which are applied to a model just like a waterslide decal but leave real relief on the surface. Sheets with rows of rivets appear in the same line, so the logic of the work is shared: instead of laborious scribing or gluing individual drops, you create three-dimensional detail with a decal. The sheet is not tied to one single aircraft type, and you lay the elements out on the model yourself according to documentation.
The model has to be painted and the area under the details coated with gloss varnish, or the film will not take hold. Cut the section you need out with a sharp scalpel, dip it briefly and let it rest until it can be slid off. Set it on the model with plenty of water, align it with the engraved lines and blot the excess away. Because the carrier is three-dimensional, use a softener sparingly and test it on a scrap piece, as a stronger type can dissolve the relief or flatten it. Once dry, coat the whole surface so that the edges of the sheet disappear, and only then apply the final color or weathering.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
