Responsibility details are not available.
A resin kit of the German field diesel locomotive Deutz OMZ 122f in 1:72 scale from Hauler. The set combines well-cast resin parts with photo-etched metal and clear film; a base with track detail for an effective display is included as well. It is a kit for advanced modelers.
Small narrow-gauge Deutz diesel locomotives served on field and industrial railways to move materiel, ammunition and supplies. Thanks to a compact two-cylinder engine and simple construction they were used in rear areas and at the front, especially on narrow-gauge lines. The characteristic hood covered an engine that was clearly on show.
First wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Thanks to the removable hood the engine can be displayed uncovered, so it pays to paint it carefully and pick it out with a wash. The base is a dark field finish completed with weathering and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
