This set holds the electronics bays, the avionics compartments, cast in resin for the American A-4 Skyhawk carrier-based attack aircraft in the A-4E/F versions in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that makes it possible to show the service panels open with the equipment behind them. It is made by Aires, a Czech brand.
The A-4 Skyhawk was a light American carrier-based attack aircraft with a long service career. The A-4E/F versions are marked by the hump behind the cockpit, in which part of the avionics was housed. Open electronics bays with faithfully cast equipment are a rewarding feature for modelers who want to show the inner structure of the aircraft.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and sand the parting lines. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The bays usually call for cutting out the relevant panels in the fuselage; after laying down a primer, paint the interior shades and pick out the individual units with a wash and a dry brush.
This is a resin accessory, not an airplane model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
