Eduard 1:32 A6M5 Zero masks is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for masking the glazing and wheels of a model of the Japanese fighter. It is not a model but an accessory that makes painting easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks in fine Japanese kabuki tape. It is not a kit or a model but an accessory for the modeler that makes masking the cockpit glazing and the wheels for spraying far easier and more accurate. The set is in 1:32 scale.
The masks are stuck onto the frames of the canopy and onto the wheel rims, so that after spraying the glass stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape conforms well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The result is sharp, straight canopy frame lines without cutting tape by hand.
The Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero (Reisen), the Model 52, was the main carrier fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the second half of the Second World War. It was powered by a Nakajima Sakae radial engine and became famous for its exceptional agility and range. The A6M5 version strengthened the structure and improved performance over the earlier variants.
The set contains only the cut-out masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
