A set of turned metal barrels, Arado Ar 196 – MG 17 and MG 15, in 1:32 scale from MASTER. It refines the armament of this German shipborne floatplane.

The set contains turned metal barrels for the MG 17 and MG 15 machine guns for a model of the German Arado Ar 196 floatplane in 1:32 scale. The metal parts replace the simplified plastic barrels from the box and give the armament a sharp, faithful look. The manufacturer is the Polish brand MASTER.
The Arado Ar 196 was the standard shipborne reconnaissance and observation aircraft of the Kriegsmarine, launched by catapult from surface ships, among them the battleship Bismarck and the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen. It carried a fixed MG 17 machine gun in the fuselage and a flexible MG 15 for the rear crew member, supplemented by wing-mounted cannons.
Cut off the plastic barrels, clean up the seating faces and glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate. Once degreased, apply a primer for metal; bring out the muzzle and the jacket with gentle drybrushing in metallic shades.
This is an add-on detail set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
