An extensive pack of accessories for a model of the American North American B-25H Mitchell medium bomber in the large 1:32 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It is not an airplane kit but a set of parts fitted to a model you already own. According to the code series it is a bundle, that is a pack bringing several separately sold sets together. Watch out for a mix-up: a decal set from a different brand carries the same name, and that is an altogether different product. The exact make-up of this pack is not stated here; the list on the box and the instruction sheets supplied decide.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War with a twin vertical tail. The B-25H version belonged to the attack variants with a solid, heavily armed nose in place of the glazed bombardier's position. In the large 1:32 scale the interior, the landing gear bays and the engine nacelles are visible enough for detail accessories to show more markedly than on smaller models.
On a large model, lay out the work in advance. Go through the pack by its individual instruction sheets and sort the parts into those belonging in the interior and those on the outside; the interior parts have to be in place before the fuselage is closed up. Cut the photo-etched parts off with a scalpel on a hard surface and bend them over a metal ruler. They are glued with cyanoacrylate applied with a wire, while epoxy suits larger parts because of the longer time it allows for settling them. Stick any self-adhesive masks on clean glazing and pull them off as soon as the paint has dried. Degrease bare metal before spraying and use a primer for metal.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
