This resin set faithfully casts the exhaust nozzles of the British Lightning fighter aircraft in the F.3 and F.6 versions in 1:32 scale. It is not a stand-alone model but a detail accessory replacing the simplified nozzles from a plastic kit with a more faithful rendering of the inner as well as the outer structure.
The Lightning was a British supersonic interceptor of the Cold War with the unusual arrangement of two jet engines stacked one above the other, which the layout of the exhaust nozzles at the tail matches. The F.3 and F.6 versions were among its interceptor variants.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The nozzles are finished at the end of building the tail; wear respiratory protection while sanding. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
