An injection-molded plastic kit of the four-seat Bf 108 Taifun liaison and touring aircraft in 1:32 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. The Weekend edition is a simplified package focused on the plastic itself and the decals, without photo-etched parts and painting masks. A decal sheet with several marking options is included.
The Bf 108 Taifun was an all-metal low-wing monoplane with an enclosed cabin, developed in the 1930s as a fast touring and sporting aircraft. Thanks to its reliability and pleasant flying qualities it served during the Second World War with the Luftwaffe and with other operators for liaison, courier and training duties. For its day it stood out with automatic slots and flaps.
You will glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic. The glazed cabin deserves careful masking and a gloss coat under the decals. For a smooth metal surface, an airbrush and a good primer are the right choice, as the primer reveals any flaws before the final coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
