A set of fine 3D printed machine gun barrels in 1:32 scale for the German Messerschmitt Bf-109 K-4 fighter. This is not a model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels from the box kit with more faithful printed parts. The set is intended for Bf-109 K-4 kits from Kotare. The barrels come from the Czech maker Eduard.
3D printing allows finer and more accurate detail than injection-molded plastic can reach, particularly on thin barrels. Replacing the plastic parts with printed ones raises the realism of a model considerably with no need for complicated modification.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, clean them up if needed and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, lay a primer suited to resin and printed parts; metal and gunmetal shades come into their own with a light final lift on the edges.
This is a detail set, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
