Eduard 1:32 masks Bf 109G-6 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for masking the glazing and the wheels of the model of the German fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for clean painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks in fine Japanese kabuki tape for the model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is neither a kit nor a finished model but an accessory that makes masking for spraying easier and more accurate.
The masks are stuck onto the canopy frames and onto the wheel hubs, so that after spraying the glass stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape adapts well to curved shapes, holds tightly and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off. Thanks to that the canopy frames come out sharp and straight with no cutting of tape by hand.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6, the Gustav, was one of the most widespread versions of the German fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and, for the heavier machine guns in the fuselage, received the characteristic bulges over the cowling. It was in service from 1943 on every front.
The set contains die-cut masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
