This resin detail set contains a more accurate exhaust pipe for a model of the two-seat Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann training biplane. It is meant as an improvement for Bücker Bü 131 models in 1:32 scale and comes as a separate accessory rather than as an aircraft kit.
The Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann was a German training and aerobatic biplane of the 1930s powered by an inline engine. The exhaust pipe is one of the visible features on a model, and a faithfully cast part with hollow outlets raises the realism markedly.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut them carefully off the casting block and sand the seating faces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The exhaust comes into its own once painted in metallic and rust tones with light weathering.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
