The masking set F-16C BDU Green Splinter Aggressor in the large 1:32 scale serves for spraying the green broken aggressor scheme onto a model of the fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 1:32 airframe offers so much surface that every imprecision of a boundary shows at once. The pre-cut parts from the Bulgarian brand DN Models therefore carry the shape of the fields exactly as it is drawn on the real aircraft and offer a knife-sharp transition between tones along the whole length of the fuselage. The artwork was based on a machine of a training unit from a base in Alaska.
Units that stand in for the enemy in exercises reach for the coloring of the equipment of the likely adversary. The green broken variant follows from the camouflage worn by the new generation of Russian twin-engine fighters, and among the usual blue and black aggressors it comes across as almost garish. On a large model the division of the fields and the fine differentiation of neighboring shades both stand out.
Lay the base tone over the whole surface and give it rest until the next day. Plan the larger parts out on the airframe dry in advance and only then stick them on one after another. Direct the paint at right angles across the edge and always only in a thin veil. Once cured, peel the parts off smoothly, without jerky movements, so that you do not lift the lower layer at the corners.
You are buying masking sheets, not an aircraft, paints or glue.
