This set from the manufacturer Art Scale holds kabuki masks aimed at the wheel bays of the GWH kit of the Curtiss Hawk 81-A2 fighter in 1:32 scale. The Hawk 81-A2 was the export version of the P-40 made famous by the American Volunteer Group, the Flying Tigers. The masks cover the surroundings of the bays exactly, so the inside can be painted a different color without laborious masking by hand and without paint creeping in.
The set makes work easier for modelers who want the wheel bays sprayed cleanly and separately. The pieces are cut from good kabuki film and ready to be applied.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not the model itself. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
