A set of printed waterslide decals from the manufacturer Lukgraph in 1:32 scale with a faithful grain of dark plywood. The decals make it possible to render the wooden plywood surfaces of a model quickly and uniformly in a darker tone, without the laborious painting of growth rings and the layering of clear coat with a brush. This is neither paint nor a model, but a surface accessory.
Some historic aircraft had a fuselage or covering of plywood treated with a darker clear coat which lent the wood a richer, warm shade. A faithful imitation of this grain is demanding on hand painting; a decal simplifies it and ensures a uniform result across the whole surface.
These are supplementary decals. The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the package.
