A photo-etched set of metal accessories for a model of the Douglas A-20J or A-20K Havoc in 1:32 scale. Metal elements refine the detail where plastic is too thick.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc was an American twin-engine light bomber and attack aircraft of the Second World War. The A-20J and A-20K versions differed in their glazed nose with a station for the bombardier: they served as formation leaders, on whose command the other aircraft of the wing dropped their bombs. The type was built in large series and a number of Allied air forces used it in various forms.
A photo-etched fret of metal accessories for a model in the large 1:32 scale. In a large scale the shortcomings of plastic parts are most visible, and that is exactly where photo-etch pays off most. The make-up of the fret, the numbering of the parts and the kit it is made for are given in the manufacturer's instructions; they are not specified more closely here.
Go in this order:
The set belongs in the hands of a builder who wants to take his time with a large model and reckons on working with tweezers. Before you start, go through the whole set of instructions and work out which elements have to be glued on before the fuselage halves are joined. You will not reach them afterward. The kit for the model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
