1:32 Douglas A-20J/K Havoc / Boston Mk.IV TFace is an Eduard masking set in the TFace rendition, which allows for masking from both sides of the glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eduard uses the TFace abbreviation for masking sets in which the other side of the glazing is allowed for as well. The practical benefit is simple: the cockpit frame looks right not only from outside, but also when seen through the clear parts into the interior. In a large scale, where you really can see into the cockpit, that is no small matter.
The aircraft of the A-20 series came about at the Douglas company as fast attack machines and spread into the inventories of a number of Allied states. The rendition with a glazed nose served as the lead aircraft of a bomber formation, because the bombardier in the nose had the view needed for sighting the target. Under the British designation Boston the type flew over western Europe and over the Mediterranean.
Start with the inner side of the glazing and spray the interior shade onto it, and only then fit the parts to the model. Put the outer mask on once that has dried, and when spraying the camouflage hold the airbrush perpendicular to the surface, so that the paint does not get under the edge. After both layers of masks are lifted off, inspect the frame against the light and touch up any small details. Only then polish the glazing for the last time with a soft cloth.
