A self-adhesive masking set from the Dead Design brand for models of the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk light attack aircraft in the E, F and K versions in 1:32 scale. Against the basic version of the same range it is conceived as double-sided, that is for masking the glazing from both faces. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for the build. The exact number of pieces and the material are not stated here.
The Skyhawk is a compact carrier-based attack aircraft with a delta wing, on which the small span meant the wing did not have to fold for stowage on deck. The A-4E and A-4F versions were later series for the US Navy and Marine Corps, and the A-4K is an export form. The set is cut for exactly this group of versions, because the shape of the canopy differs between series. The double-sided form makes sense where the inner face of the canopy is in view on the finished model: the frames then look the same in color inside as outside and no clear plastic shows through anywhere. That is why this version tends to be more extensive than the basic one.
Degrease the glazing and let it dry. Stick the mask for the outer face onto the glass so that it seats exactly around the frame, and place the part for the inner face the same way. On curved areas press it down gradually, so that the mask follows the shape without creases. Spray the paint in thin coats. It is practical to spray the inner face first, usually in the cockpit color, and only then deal with the outer shade. Once dry, take the mask off with tweezers at a shallow angle.
This is an accessory for the build. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
