Resin ejection handles of the KM-1 and KM-1M ejection seat, 1:32 scale will complete the open cockpit of a model of a Soviet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This small resin set replaces the handles with which a pilot set off the ejection from the KM-1 seat and its KM-1M rendition. 1:32 scale means that on a model we are talking about a part a few millimeters in size, and yet it is this one that decides whether an open cockpit looks convincing or empty.
The KM-1 was a Soviet ejection seat used in the cockpits of MiG fighters. It replaced an earlier arrangement with a jettisoned canopy serving as a shield against the blast of air, and it made it possible to leave the machine at lower altitudes and speeds as well. It was operated by handles, after which the whole sequence ran automatically. In modeling practice you will meet it mainly on the MiG-21 and MiG-23 types.
Have tweezers, a sharp scalpel and good light ready. Separate the handles from the casting frame with a cut right at the part, not by nipping them off. Fit them only after the seat and the cockpit have been painted, so that they do not get clogged with paint. Apply super glue with the tip of a wire; a drop from the bottle is senselessly large here. Setting the handles apart in color from the rest of the seat is what makes the detail visible.
