The F-14A Tomcat is an American carrier-borne fighter aircraft with a crew of two and with a variable-sweep wing: at takeoff and landing the wing is spread, and in fast flight it is drawn in toward the fuselage. The machine was designed for the defense of a carrier group, so it carried a powerful radar and long-range missiles. The unit VF-84 flew under the nickname Jolly Rogers and its machines are sought after among modelers because of the striking mark of a skull with crossed bones on the vertical tail surfaces.

Look the procedure up in the instructions and before soaking check in them whether it is not a self-adhesive form. With a classic waterslide decal, cut the motif out close to the edge, soak it and let it rest until it can be pushed along the backing. Lay it onto a smooth gloss surface, because on a matte coat a silvery border appears around a decal. Lay large motifs on section by section and draw the excess water off with a cloth from the center toward the edges, so that no air is left under them.
