1:48 Photo-etched strips 0.3 to 1.0 mm are a universal modeling material, not a kit: a sheet 100x50 mm overall with straight strips in several widths, from which you cut exactly what you need on a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a set for a particular model or a kit but a stock of photo-etched strips for free use. On a sheet 100x50 mm overall there are straight strips etched in widths from 0.3 to 1.0 mm. You cut out exactly the width and length you need, and the sheet will last you several builds.
A photo-etched strip stands in anywhere a thin metal band belongs on a model: lashing and securing straps for a load, clamping bands, hinges and straps, trims, stiffeners, rims, brackets for crates and tools, or the straps over fuel tanks. Diorama builders reach for them too, for the metalwork of crates, gates and doors. Because the material is metal, it can be bent over an edge and stays bent - a plastic strip in such a small thickness either breaks or springs back straight.
Cut the strips off with a scalpel on a glass or metal surface; scissors will ripple the ends. Guide a longer piece with tweezers and press it down with a toothpick, so that it follows the shape of the base. It is bonded with super glue, on long strips in sections, so that the position can still be corrected. Degrease the metal with alcohol before painting and go over it with a base coat; only then apply the paint of the model, so that the strip blends into its surroundings and does not look like metal stuck on afterwards. Small nuts and rivets can be added to a strip separately.
This is an accessory material, not a kit. The model, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
