A colored 3D printed interior set from Quinta Studio in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a finishing add-on: thin 3D decals on decal backing that give the cockpit of the Grumman F-14D Super Tomcat raised, colored depth without complicated painting. The set is cut to suit the Trumpeter kit.
The parts are printed in several layers, so they have real relief and are not flat like ordinary decals. They replace or cover the instrument panels, the side consoles, the seats and other elements of the cockpit. The colors and the instrument markings are printed at the factory.
The set is applied much like decals: the part is released in water and transferred onto the plastic surface, and with the more raised elements a spot of cyanoacrylate glue helps to secure it. We recommend a clean, degreased surface and patience when settling the more complicated parts. Do not use a decal softener, as it would attack the printed resin.
This is an interior add-on, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
