This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is not a kit of an aircraft but a set of photo-etched parts for refining a model of the American McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II fighter in the large 1:32 scale. Some of the parts are pre-printed in color, so they go on without further varnishing.
A colored photo-etched set in this scale usually brings detail for the cockpit (instrument panels, side consoles, harness belts) as well as selected external and interior elements that replace flat plastic detail with finer metal parts. In the large 1:32 scale these elements are particularly easy to see and noticeably lift the level of the model.
Do not varnish over the colored parts, just clean up their edges gently. Separate the other photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Make the bends in a bending tool for clean edges.
The set contains photo-etched parts only, not the plastic model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
