Eduard F4U-1A Corsair 1:32 is a set of painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard for accurate masking of the glazing and the clear parts of a model of the American F4U-1A Corsair fighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:32 scale for the Vought F4U-1A Corsair naval fighter. The masks in a fine masking material (kabuki paper) follow the shape of the frames of the reworked, raised canopy exactly. They are stuck onto the model, sprayed over with paint and taken off once dry. This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a model in its own right: the kit has to be obtained separately.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier-based and land-based fighter of the Second World War with an inverted gull wing and a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 engine. Compared with the early Birdcage form, the F4U-1A version brought a reworked, raised canopy with less framing together with a raised pilot's seat, which markedly improved the view, above all when landing aboard. It ranked among the most successful fighters in the Pacific.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model of the aircraft. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
