The set holds resin gun barrels for the on-board armament of a model of the Fw 190A-8 fighter in 1:32 scale. Quickboost is a brand of aftermarket accessories; the precisely cast barrels replace the simplified plastic parts from the kit and give the wing and the nose faithful gun muzzles. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for raising the detail.
The Fw 190A-8 was one of the most produced versions of the German radial-engine fighter of the Second World War. The A series was heavily armed and was committed to fighter as well as attack duties.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces down. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the barrels with a primer and a metallic shade; the muzzles and the edges can be emphasized with a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
