A photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:32 scale for refining the engine section of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 fighter. It is not an airplane model but a set of fine metal parts, which a modeler builds into a plastic kit.
The Fw 190A-8 was one of the most widespread production versions of the German Fw 190 fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by a radial engine, and the A series stood out for its rugged structure and heavy armament.
The etching supplies the engine section with fine covers, stiffeners, fastening and ancillary features that bare plastic does not hold. Cut the parts off at the fret, form the bends over a bending tool and glue with super glue. Degrease the bare parts before painting and spray them with a base coat.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
