The Focke-Wulf Fw 190F-8 was the ground-attack version of the Fw 190 fighter with a radial engine, adapted for attacks on ground targets. The tail wheel at the rear of the fuselage carried the load while taxiing and standing on the ground. A faithful rendering of the fork, the tire and the mounting is among the details that stand out especially on a model with the machine on the ground.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, cut the casting block off carefully and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with respiratory protection. It is worth setting the metal parts of the fork apart from the rubber tire, which comes out well in dark gray shades with light dusting from pigments at the contact patch.
