It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified nozzles from the boxed kit with a more faithful and finely rendered copy. The set offers nozzles in the open and the closed position.
The Grumman F-14A Tomcat is an American carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing and Pratt & Whitney TF30 engines. The nozzles change position according to the engine setting; one is usually open and the other closed.
This is a resin (3D-printed) set for experienced modelers. First wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces - protect your airways when sanding resin. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with cement for plastic. The inside of the nozzles stands out with a dark shade, metallic sheen and a gentle wash in the recesses.
The set is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
