A detail set from the maker Aires. It is not a model but an accessory for models of the Soviet biplane I-153 Chaika in 1:32 scale. The package holds resin wheels with a faithfully cast tread pattern and hub detail, and along with them self-adhesive paint masks.
The resin wheels replace the plastic wheels of the basic kit and look more convincing thanks to the sharp casting. The enclosed masks make a clean division between the tire and the wheel hub easier, so the painting is quick and with no bleeding.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels and cut the casting blocks off. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. First spray the hub, stick the mask on and then spray the tire over it. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The basic model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
