A color 3D decal interior in 1:32 scale from Quinta Studio. It is not a model; it is a set of relief, three-dimensionally shaped decals on a backing paper that faithfully replace the instrument panels, the side panels and other elements of the cockpit. The set is intended for the Junkers Ju 88A-4 plastic kit from Revell.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a versatile German twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War, used as a bomber, a dive bomber and a night fighter. The A-4 version was one of the most widely built bomber modifications, with a longer wing and more powerful Jumo 211 engines.
The part is cut from the sheet, dipped in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the backing paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own; it holds on a surface gone over with a gloss coat (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22), and on broken-up areas a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps. The elements are printed in color, so painting the dials is unnecessary. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as it attacks the printed resin; at the end the interior can be unified with a matte coat.
This is an interior accessory, not a kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included; the set serves to detail the matching kit.
